SEARCH RANKINGS

Your rankings come with you

Every rebuild ships with a full crawl and a redirect map, so launch day doesn't cost you traffic.

SCOPE & PRICE

Fixed price, fixed date

Scope and timeline agreed before we start. No hourly billing, no scope-creep invoices.

Why rebuilds go wrong

Most redesigns quietly cost you traffic.

A new site goes live. It looks better. Then the calls slow down, and nobody can say exactly when it started. The old URLs were never redirected, the pages Google ranked no longer exist, and six months of leads are gone before anyone opens Search Console.

That's not a design problem, it's a process problem — and it's the part most studios skip. Handled properly, a rebuild is the cheapest growth you'll buy all year.

The usual rebuild
  • Old site deleted
  • No redirect map

A Formr rebuild
  • Full crawl of the old site

How it works

From first call to live site, in four steps.

You'll always know what's happening, what's next, and what I need from you.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery call

A 30-minute call. Your business, your customers, what the current site isn't doing. If we're not a fit, I'll say so on that call.

  2. Step 02

    Strategy & design

Sitemap, copy direction, and the full design — starting with the homepage as the reference for everything else. Two revision rounds built in.

  3. Step 03

    Build & migrate

The site gets built, and your old site gets crawled. Every URL that matters gets a redirect before anything goes live.

  4. Step 04

    Launch & watch

Launch day, then 30 days of monitoring: Search Console, analytics, crawl errors. I watch the numbers so you don't have to.

Typical timeline: 4–6 weeks · Fixed price agreed before step 01

The stack behind your site

Built on infrastructure
that outlasts trends.

Your site runs on React, deploys to a global CDN, and sits behind enterprise DNS. The tools aren't the point — the point is that nothing here is a plugin that breaks in eighteen months.

The studio
Heiko Førmr

The only person on your project.

Formr Studio is one designer, not an agency pretending to be small. That's the point: at this size you get the person who did the strategy, drew the logo, wrote the redirect map, and pushed the site live. From the first call to 30 days after launch, you're talking to me.

I work almost entirely with US businesses, I schedule calls in your morning, and I answer my own email.

No sales call. I'll read your details first and come back with a real answer.

Projects at Formr Studio start at $5,500 for a focused launch site and typically land between $9,500 and $20,000 for a full brand and website build. The number depends on page count, how much copy and brand work is needed, and whether an existing site has to be migrated. You get the exact figure in the proposal before anything starts, and that figure is what you're invoiced.

Because $9,500 buys the whole project, not a template drop. It covers strategy and sitemap, copy direction, a full custom design starting from the homepage, the build itself, a crawl of your old site with a complete redirect map, structured data, performance work, and 30 days of post-launch monitoring. A US agency quoting the same scope will usually land between $25,000 and $40,000, largely because you're also paying for account managers, sales overhead, and junior handoffs — none of which exist here.

Four to six weeks from kickoff to launch for most projects. Week one is discovery and sitemap, weeks two and three are design with two revision rounds built in, and the remaining time is build, migration, and testing. Larger scopes get a longer timeline, but the launch date is agreed in the contract either way.

Not if the migration is done properly, and it's included in every rebuild. Your existing site gets crawled, every URL that carries traffic or links gets mapped to its new destination, and the redirects go live at the same moment the new site does. After launch I watch Search Console, analytics, and crawl errors for 30 days and fix anything that moves in the wrong direction.

A primary logo and its variations, a type system, a color palette with usage rules, and the basic applications you actually need — favicon, social profile assets, and document or invoice styling. Everything is delivered in editable source files plus exported formats, and you own all of it. The identity is designed against the website, so the two never look like separate projects.

Almost all of my work is with US small businesses, and the studio is set up around that — pricing in USD, US English copy, and calls scheduled in your morning. I do take projects elsewhere when the fit is right. The easiest way to find out is to send the details and I'll tell you honestly.

Thirty days of monitoring are included: Search Console coverage, analytics, crawl errors, and any redirect issues that surface once real traffic arrives. You also get the handover — accounts, files, and a short walkthrough of how to update content yourself. Beyond that, ongoing support is available monthly, but nothing obliges you to keep paying me.

I build on a modern React stack deployed to a global CDN rather than on page-builder platforms, because plugin stacks are where most sites quietly break. If you're currently on WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix, that's a normal starting point — I migrate from all three regularly, including the content and the URL structure. If you specifically need to stay on your current platform, I'll tell you upfront that I'm not the right fit.

How I work

From briefingto launch.

Nine phases, each with a defined end point. You always know what's being worked on, what's next, and what I need from you — no silent weeks and no moving targets.

  1. 01Contract

    Contract & kickoff

Scope, fixed price, and a launch date, signed before anything starts.

  2. 02Discovery

    Discovery & audit

A call about the business, then a full crawl of your existing site.

  3. 03Structure

    Sitemap & content strategy

Which pages you actually need, what each one has to do, and what it should say.

  4. 04Identity

    Brand direction

Color, type, and logo decided in one round rather than drifting for weeks.

  5. 05Design

    Homepage design

The homepage is designed and approved first, then everything is built against it.

  6. 06Build

    Full build

Every remaining page, built against the approved homepage and tested on real devices.

  7. 07Migration

    SEO migration

Every URL from the old site mapped to its new home and tested on staging.

  8. 08Review

    QA & pre-launch

A final pass on speed, accessibility, forms, and links, then your review.

  9. 09Launch

    Launch & monitoring

Launch day, then thirty days of watching the numbers and reporting in plain English.
